Natural mathematics is a method of thinking and expressing mathematical concepts and logic using the flexibility and expressiveness of natural language, rather than formal symbols or equations. This is closely related to the simulation thinking advocated by the author and is considered an effective approach, especially for intuitively understanding system-wide trends and changes in properties, and for constructing new concepts. It is also applied as a way of thinking in requirements definition in software engineering and in understanding AI's cognitive processes.
