While existing attention mechanisms 'implicitly' select important parts from input data, this concept involves humans 'explicitly' specifying the knowledge (attention knowledge) that AI should refer to for task execution. The goal is to control which information AI should pay attention to, preventing incorrect contextual understanding and inappropriate inferences. From a software engineering perspective, it is an approach to enhance AI's interpretability and controllability.
